Two ways to do this:
1) Ask in any of our stores about how you can join the AO Adventure Rewards Program and one of our staff will personally enroll you.
2) Sign up online to enroll yourself in the AO Adventure Rewards Program*

Each time you make a purchase or pay for a rental at any Algonquin Outfitters, AO Boatwerks or AO Swifty's Surf & Snow stores make sure we enter your phone number to activate your membership account.
Points will be credited to your account at the following ration
5% for cash or debit
2% for credit cards
0% for charges to account
Once you have accumulated $10 or more in rewards. Which shouldn't take very long at all. You can then redeem all or some of your accumulated rewards on your next visit to any of the AO brand stores.
You also have the opportunity to donate your points either when you receive them or at any future date to one of three charities that our members have selected.

Q: Is there a Fee to join the AO Adventure Rewards Program?
A: We're proud to offer you member ship for FREE as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations.
Q: What information do I need to provide to join the AO Adventure Rewards Program?
A: First & last name, your email address and your phone number, which is used as your account number to track and accumulate your reward points. You can also provide a mailing address and work phone number if you would like.
Q: Why do you need my email address?
A: We would like to tell you about specials we may have where you can earn extra Adventure Reward Points and also remind you occasionally how many points you have earned and can redeem.
Q: What if my family only has one phone number to use to track points?
A: Points will all accumulate under one phone number, you share your points then.
Q: What is the value of each point?
A: Each point holds a value of $1.00 to be used on future purchases at any AO Branded store. You can find a map and list of our stores on our website.
Q: Do my points ever expire?
A: Points do not expire but we do reserve the right to maybe change this in the future or archive very old customer data (eg. you haven't visited one of our stores in 10 years)
Q: Will I receive junk mail?
A: We try very hard to not ever contact anyone who does not want to be contacted. Currently we have a very active email newsletter membership that we have all individually categorized by what time of interest everyone has and we attempt to only email relevant information,
Q: How can I check that my point total is correct?
A: AO Adventure Reward Points are calculated on the pre-tax amount at a rate of 5% for cash/debit purchases and 2% for Visa/MC/Amex purchases. Charges to account do not qualify for Reward Points
Q: How do I read the points on my invoice?
A: Simple, a running total is displayed on the very bottom of your receipt. Points that you earned on that transaction are displayed on a "Points Earned" line right above the "Points Total" line.
Q: Do I get points on sale priced items?
A: Yes we are happy to provide you with points on merchandise that is on sale.
Q: Do I get points on rentals or service?
A: Yes you get points on those too.
Q: Is there anything I don't get points on?
A: Points are accumulated on the pre-tax amount, you do not get points on taxes paid or shipping charges but all other merchandise, service, rentals to qualify.
Q: Is any one excluded from the AO Adventure Rewards System?
A: Only institutions that already receive a discount and/or are allowed to charge purchases are excluded from the rewards program. This allows us to continue to offer them our institutional and non profit price program.
Q: I read something about being able to donate my points to a charity? Tell me more about that.
A: You have two choices if you want to donate points to one of our members selected charities. You can express your desire at the time of purchase to donate your points from that purchase to one of our three charities or you can also contact us to donate all or some of your accumulated points at any time.
Q: What charities can I donate to?
A: We may update this list on occasion. We ran a customer survey on our various social media sites and are currently totaling the results. Sponsored Charities will be announced soon.
